To refer a patient to our clinic, please fax a referral letter to (604) 675-3883, attention “VGH General Hematology”. Please include the reason for the referral, the patient’s contact information and relevant laboratory results and imaging reports. Historical results and consultation notes from other specialists are very helpful.

Our clinic assesses the urgency of all referrals based on the information provided. Patients will be seen by the first available Hematologist, unless a specific Hematologist is requested. If you feel that a more urgent consultation is required, please inform our clinic by fax as to the reason for urgency and leave the referring provider’s direct contact # for our triage physician to call if necessary.
