He completed his medical degree at Dalhousie University, Internal Medicine residency at the University of Ottawa and Hematology at UBC. He also holds a Master&#8217;s of Medical Education from the University of Dundee and completed the UBC Centre for Health Education Scholarship Clinical Educator Fellowship.
